Optifine causing forge to crash
WebApr 12, 2024 · Many are reporting that the Optifine version of the game is not installable for them with some reporting that it is causing their system to crash. My computer keeps crashing every time I try and re-install optifine so that I can play minecraft with it on the new launcher (they unified bedrock and Java launchers). Webr/Optifine • 1.19.3 and 1.19.4 is released! This is a pretty good looking graph if I do say so myself. sp614x paused working on 1.19.3 to work on 1.19.4 and now they are both done!

Are you using pre 1.17.1 stuff? WebFeb 7, 2016 · No. Optifine goes after forge. It over writes some of the class files in forge. But it incorporates the same changes as forge plus it's own changes to those files so that it is compatible with forge. If you install forge second, forge overwrites the changes optifine needs to those class file.

Clear instructions or even images on reproducing: Adding the optifine 1.12.2 jar executable causes the RLCraft loading screen to hang for me, and removing the jar fixes the issue. This fix doesn't seem to work. Notes: There is a lot of ambiguity installing this modpack.
